Mom called Parksville home for over 60 years. She loved to travel, was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She found great joy playing the ukulele with her friends and performing throughout the years. She always kept an open door welcoming everyone in with kindness, warmth, and a generous heart.
Mom is survived by her sons Doyle (Jeanie), Lyle (Joan), Keith (Mary), Boyd (Sandy) and daughter Connie Larsen, and her 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Mom is also predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Hank, her parents John and Annie, and brother Roy and son-in-law Rick.
Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to Cokeley Manor and the palliative care team for the care and support they provided.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 22 at 1 pm at the Knox United Church, 345 Pym Street, Parksville.
