Peter and I were husband, wife. divorced but kept in touch. Peter was well known and respected in the community.  His contribution to giving parksville a playable field down in the community park that was used for 20 years for ball, soccer and many other outside community benefits. His contribution to Niwra as president by building their first wildlife animal pond. SPCA  and for President for obtaining the land the shelter now sits on.
The guidance to up and coming local business.  Hayloch Bros. Paving.
 Sims associates.  Duncan associates engineering. Town & country construction. Knappett construction. Duncan & associates engineering. His tenure with the City of Parksville, plus much more community involvement. He was a fine, educated, multitalented man. His guidance and opposition of  the development of the parksville flats. Overall negotiations with First Nations with the Irminskin subdivision. Shelleybrook seniors residences.
