Ruth WEBB

Ruthie worked as a Mother, homemaker, and childcare provider for dozens of children over the years. She loved gardening, bowling, playing Scrabble, and doing ceramincs with her dear friends.  Ruthie also adored spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Bud (Norma), Douglas (Cara), Allan (Shelly); daughters, Laurie (Robin), Linda (Rudy); grandchildren, Nick,  Will, Thomas, Traci, Josh, Carter, Sylvan, Eli, Liam, Talia, and Amelia; along with many, many siblings, extended family members and friends.  Ruthie was predeceased by her parents, Katherina and Jacob Gerbrandt; husband, George, many dear brothers, sisters, friends, and family members.  Most recently, Ruthie tragically lost her beautiful grandson, Bradley Webb at the age of 20.  We know that today they are reunited in Paradise.

A Memorial Service will be held in Ruth’s honour at 4:00 pm on Sunday June 14th at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville with Pastor Chris Wilson of Nanoose Evangelical Free Church officiating.  Silly hats and bright colours are welcome!
