Urisa Marie Pauluzzi

Born in Duncan, BC on January 5th, 1966 and passed away suddenly on May 26th, 2024 at age 58. Urisa is predeceased by her father Giuseppe Pauluzzi (Papa Joe). She is survived by her loving long time partner Dave Lingard, mother Rose Pauluzzi, sister Anita Ellison (Ken), her nephews Nolan (Emma), Dayne (Mariah), Colten and grandnephew Sawyer, niece Marina, aunties, uncles, cousins in BC and Italy, and many great friends.

Urisa was a kind, loving, and free spirited person. She had a wonderful life with Dave and their cats. She was an artist and was always working on new crafts including beautiful handmade jewelry, paintings, as well as selling her art online. She was a woman of many talents and pursued schooling in computer technology, was a graduate of makeup school for movies and television in Vancouver, and was a motorcycle enthusiast in her youth. In her spare time she loved to travel the world, go skiing and cycling with friends, and spend time at the lake with her favourite cousin Daryl.

A small family service will be held at Yates Memorial in Parksville on June 3rd, 2024, and a celebration of life will be at a later date.

Urisa, deep in our hearts you’ll always stay, loved and missed everyday.
