

It is with great sadness that the family of William Charles Morrison announces his untimely passing on March 1, 2021. William (Bill) was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) Sr. and Elizabeth (Betty) Morrison. Bill leaves behind his younger sister Lynn and his nieces Laura, Marie, Dianna and his great nephew Bailey. As well as many other family members. Bill was born in Seattle, Washington, August 23, 1940. In his early years Bills parents immigrated to British Columbia, Canada and settled in North Vancouver where they lived many years. Bill and his sister visited his grandparents in Powell River over the summer, where his grandfather was the first doctor there. Once a teenager Bill’s parents moved themselves over to Vancouver Island, where Bill became a logger in Nanoose Bay but his career was cut short as he was injured. Bill was married once with no children. He lived in Parksville over fifty years driving his truck to the beaches digging up clams with his parents and riding his motorcycle to Victoria as well as playing the guitar and banjo. Bill was a gentle man and very much loved by his family.
