

Albert B. Castillo Sr., 64, died at 12:20 AM, Friday, April 3, 2015 at home in Pasadena TX. He was born July 19, 1950 in Victoria, Texas, to Luciano G. and Beatrice Castillo. He is survived by his wife of 25yrs Rebecca Castillo, married on May 5th, 1990. His surviving sisters and brothers are Yolanda Castillo and Frank Castillo. He was preceded in death by his brother Luciano Castillo Jr. His surviving children listed from eldest to youngest, Albert Castillo Jr., Melissa M. Castillo, Jimmy J. Castillo, Luciano R. Castillo, Constancia C. Castillo, and Angelica Castillo.
All who knew Albert would mention his passion for music, hard-working ethics, and his devotion to his family. Born originally in Victoria Texas, Albert’s family later moved to Houston Texas where he graduated from Jefferson Davis High school. Albert’s passion for music started as a child which led him to join the Marshall Jr. High school band. He later became a song writer, music composer, and performer. He also wrote songs for several local churches including a composition for Joel Osteen of Lakewood church. His hard work and dedication to his family guided him to settle in
La Porte Texas where he finished a career with Kroger. He was known to all as the good spirit in room who always wanted to make everyone laugh and feel comfortable. He welcomed outsiders and treated all with kindness and respect. He will be loved, cherished, and never forgotten in his passing.
Memorial services for Albert Castillo Sr. will be held Saturday April 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm. The services will be at the Funeraria Del Angel located at 901 Main St. Pasadena TX 77506 713-589-1599.
