

Angelo Lambros Augustinos was born in Clovis, New Mexico on March 19, 1942 to Clara and Lambros Augustinos. He grew up with three siblings, Demetrie, Tacia and Teresa. At the time of his death, he was living in Deer Park, Texas.
After graduating from Sacred Heart High School in Clovis, he attended Eastern New Mexico University and earned a bachelor's degree in 1966. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he worked in Communications for three years at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. He traveled to eight countries during his commission with the Air Force.
Angelo was a reliable, loyal, and hard worker. He enjoyed a successful career working for Rohm and Haas Company until his retirement. He was affectionately called "Augie" at work.
He married Betty Salamone in 1987, and they lived happily for 38 years until her death in 2018. Angelo was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Molly, in 2025.
Angelo's biggest hobby was his love for baseball. He was a die-hard Cubs fan! He also loved watching old Westerns on TV, and had a copy of every movie that John Wayne ever made. Another great love of Angelo's was chile con queso from Casa Olé. Angelo had a wicked sense of humor!
He is survived by two sisters, Tacia Johnson (Mike), and Teresa Johnson (Jay). He was preceded in death by his older brother, Demetrie, and his sister-in-law, Sharon Augustinos. He is also survived by three nieces, Andrea Petagna (Jeff), Athena Augustinos, and Penelope Johnson, and one nephew, Brandon White; also two great nephews, Carson and Nikolas, and great nieces, Miranda, Madison and Jordyn.
He is already missed by his family, loved ones and friends. He was one-of-a-kind. There will never be another Angelo.
