Bobby Joe Ware

Bobby Joe Ware 89, of Pasadena, passed away on June 5, 2024.He was born in Caddo, OK on August 11, 1934. He is preceded in death by his parents, Olvin Ware and Merle Ware, as well as his brother Jimmy Ware.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Carol Cranford Ware, daughters Karen White (John) and Sherri Weishaar (Ron). He is survived by his two grandchildren Dayna Riley (Aaron), and Trina Marshall (Ryan) who affectionately referred to him as Papa. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Paige, Lincoln, Scout, and Quinn.

Bob married the love of his life on April 21, 1956. Soon after, he went into the air Force and was stationed in England and served as a medic. Throughout his life, he worked for Lomas & Nettleton as an appraisal inspector. He also worked for Foley’s selling electronics & later at Sears selling appliances and carpet. Bob had the personality that could charm anyone, which made him a great salesman.

Bob was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a Mason for over 50 years and served as Master Mason at the lodge in Kingsland, Texas.

Bob loved country music, especially Merle Haggard. In his spare time, he loved to share his talent of singing and playing guitar. His favorite artists to perform were Hank Williams, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, & Merle Haggard – of course! He was a performer and loved to put smiles on people’s faces. He was loved by everyone that met him. Although he lived most of his life in Texas, he was very proud of his Oklahoma heritage and was an avid OU football fan – BOOMER SOONER!

A celebration of his life will be held at his daughter’s home on June 22, 2024, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at 6422 Ray Rd. Pasadena, TX 77505.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kingsland masonic Lodge #1424. Checks can be made payable to Kingsland Masonic Lodge & mailed to P.O. Box 65, Kingsland, Texas 78639.
