Carolyn was born in Grand Prairie Texas on April 16, 1949, Carolyn lost her battle with congestive heart failure on September 24, 2021. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jack Houston and Imogene Sutton, Brother Gary Wayne Sutton, Brother Jackie Eugene Sutton and son Shannon Scott
Carolyn is survived by her son Charles Alvin Scott and Wife Wendy Harper Scott, Grandchildren Cory Alexander Scott, Neisa Bellashae Scott, and Sarah Murline Harper. Great grandchild Karter Scott. Special mention to Tammy Rodriguez and Christian Rodriguez who Carolyn considered her daughter and grandson.
Sister Myrna Lee Lynch, brother Robert Lynn Sutton and wife Debi Sutton, sister Mary Alice Crews and husband James Clay Crews Jr., sister Paula Gene Vanya and boyfriend James Wilson, brother Troy Allen Sutton, and wife Kimberly Sutton. In addition to many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carolyn enjoyed reading, traveling, and anything to do with current styles and fashion. Carolyn was the type of person who never met a stranger, she was quick to notice something about people that she admired such as shoes, purse, hairstyle and she would always compliment the person. Carolyn enjoyed being around and meeting people, she was definitely a people person. Carolyn loved all animals, many of the programs that she enjoyed watching were on the Animal Planet.
