Emma Coronado

Emma Ozuna Coronado, 66, died peacefully on September 24, 2015 in Pasadena, Texas. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Frank Coronado; children Richard Martinez, Jr. and Cris/Chachi Martinez; and siblings Vangie Ozuna Grimes, Elva Ozuna Alvarado, Jose Angel "Joe" Ozuna, Jr., Elizabeth Ozuna Stewart, and Joel Ozuna. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Angel Ozuna, Sr. and Leonor Guerrero Ozuna, and half brothers Eduardo Escobedo and Ruben Escobedo.

Emma was born in Gregory, Texas on October 15, 1948. She was primarily a homemaker as well as a talented quilt maker. She was a generous person who loved helping others, including perfect strangers. Her and Steve took a family member’s child into their home and helped raise him into his late teens. Emma knew Jesus as her personal Savior and she loved the Lord.

A funeral will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Del Angel Funeral Chapel, 901 Main Street, Pasadena, Texas 77506. Visitation with the family will begin two hours before the service begins and will continue one hour after the service. The family would like to thank everyone for all the support and care that was given to Emma before her departure to her home in Heaven.
