

Gayle Alfred Theriot, age 86, of Pasadena, TX passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 27, 1938 in Franklin, Louisiana and married Linda Hays Theriot on August 8, 1964.
He attended trade school and was a pipefitter for many years. He then owned and operated an air conditioning business, Terri-o AC.
Gayle was a devoted Catholic and loved sharing his faith with others. He was an active member of St. Pius V Catholic Church and generously shared his time and boundless positive energy at church as well as with many faith organizations over the years including Knights of Columbus, Kairos prison ministry, and Cursillo.
Gayle had a wonderful laugh that made everyone around him happy. He enjoyed dancing with his wife, spending time with his family, and watching the Astros.
Gayle is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Linda; brother Austin (Toni) of Pearland; 4 children, Kevin (Wendy) Theriot of Dickinson, Bill (Cathy) Theriot of Pearland, Anthony (Angela) Theriot of Houston, and Tina (Mark) Oskin of Clinton, Washington; 8 grandchildren, Kevin Jr. (Shana), Andrew, Christy, Nicholas (Kelly), Brittni (Dominic), Serena (Austin), Sky, and Dylan; 11 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Alfred Theriot and Olive Breaux Theriot and sisters Jade Emily Theriot and Carol Theriot Asher.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to St Pius V Food Bank, Houston Hospice or to an Alzheimer’s fighting organization.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM with a Vigil and Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena, Texas 77502. A Celebration of Mass will occur Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 Main Street, Pasadena, Texas 77506. Immediately following Gayle will be laid to rest at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
