Joyce Wood Barnett

She married Charles Edward Barnett on March 5th, 1955. They were each other’s lifelong companions and were blessed with 3 children. She was a resident of Pasadena Texas for most of her life and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Pasadena. Joyce was a Reserve Officer for Harris County Precinct 2 and later retired as a county clerk. She loved volunteering for the local Pasadena Little Theatre where she was the go-to stage manager. Joyce loved the occasional crossword puzzle, watching Law and Order and Jeopardy, and loved ice cold cokes. She also loved making trips to Alabama to visit her family. Joyce was Preceded in death by her husband Charles, her brother Buddy Wood and her children Michael Edward Barnett and Randi Leigh Roberts. She is survived by her Son Ronald Wayne Barnett , sisters Cathy(Sister) Wood Tucker, Pat Wood Walker, Gwen Wood Corbin and Cindy Wood Ferguson. Nieces and Nephews Allen, Chris, Tracy, Bruce, Patty, Timmy, Windy, Larry, Jessie, Leo Tony, Scott, Jacob and Josie. Son in Law John Andrew Roberts, Granddaughters Brittany Reed and husband Travis, Bridget Roberts and Alexandra Roberts. Lastly her two Great Grandchildren Jesse and Sadie Reed. Joyce was the most amazing sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was the heart of the family and will be greatly missed.
