Mark Steven Grein, 67, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by the care and love of his family. A graduate of Deer Park High School, Mark was a devoted son, brother, and uncle whose spirit and laughter touched everyone he met.
Early in life, Mark suffered a life-threatening accident that left him disabled, yet he lived with courage and joy. He loved John Wayne westerns, country music, and was a devoted fan of the Houston Astros and Texas Longhorns. His smile, humor, and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Edward Grein. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Grein; sisters Kathy (Chris) Holderfield and Vicky (Brent) Latham; nieces and nephews Ashley (Bryan) Musick, Amy (Eric) James, and Andrew Dibello; and grandnieces and grandnephews Ethan (Mackenzie) Del Rio, Maverick Musick, Kennedy Musick, Henry Musick, Garrett James, Gavin James, Gage James, Grayson James, and Penny James.
A visitation will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, located at 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX, 77502, on October 2, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue starting at 11:00 am. The committal service will take place at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, 77505, at 12:30 pm.
