Pauline Gomez Perez

She was born in Pasadena, Tx on June 28,1933 to Francisco Gomez and Maria Rafaila Lurera. She was married to her beloved husband Jesus Rodriguez Perez for 69 years. Pauline Perez worked as a housekeeper at the Ramada Inn and in a nursing home as a cook. She also worked at the cleaners. Pauline enjoyed taking care of her family, she was a homemaker which she made some of their clothes enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and made big meals at family gatherings like her famous Tamales, Mole, Tortillas and baking sweet treats. Pauline went to school in Pasadena where she attended Pasadena High School. She married her beloved husband in July 1952 and had a big family of 7. She lived in the same house for over 73 years on Heights Street. She was a believer of Jesus Christ and was Baptized on April 2009. Pauline was preceded in death by her mother Maria Rafalia Lurera and father Francisco Gomez and her beloved husband Jesus Rodriguez Perez and siblings Tia Mary Imperial and her son-n-law Cruz Vela, Jr. and daughter-n-law Denise Perez.

Pauline survived by her 2 sisters Carolina Tamayo and Linda Melchor. Also by her children, Mary Vela, Jessie Lind, Pauline Castillo, Elias Perez, Virginia Carson, Rosalinda Baker, George Perez, daughter-in-law Reyna Perez, son in law Nemicio Castillo, Joe Carson. Her grandchildren (18) Joseph, Josie, Jimmie, Christina, Caroline, Leticia, Jesse, Michael, Matthew, Cynthia, Reyna, Stephanie, Samantha, Elias Jr., Joey, Jesse, Ronald, Amanda. And her (45) great grandchildren and (7) great great grandkids.
