

Robert “Bob” James Pesl, 91, passed away July 13, 2022. Born on September 28, 1930 to James and Meta Pesl in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dick Pesl, and his sister Sharon Horn. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Patricia Pesl of Pasadena, Texas; his older sister, Shirley Beebe of Colorado, his younger brother Jim Pesl of California, and brother Bill Pesl of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his four children: Laura Cole and her husband Gerry Cole; Michael Pesl and his wife Missi; James Pesl and his wife Ellen; and Mark Pesl and his wife Mounia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Bob spent 35 years as an environmental engineer with Shell Chemical in Deer Park where he never missed a day of work. This is where he met the love of his life; his wife, Pat. For 66 years these two were inseparable.
A longtime resident of Pasadena, Bob was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed camping and boating. Bob spent many hours with his family showing them how to fish and/or water ski. After retirement, Bob and Pat took up many activities including snow skiing and traveling.
Friends are asked to celebrate his life Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Pasadena Funeral Home, 2203 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena, TX, 77502. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for a donation to the Pasadena Rotary Club at https://pasadenatxrotary.org/
