Caroline was known for her seamstress skills where she made many beautiful dresses for the ladies in her Eastern Star chapters. She loved to play her piano organ, take her dogs for walks and chat with her neighbors and close friends. She was involved for almost 50 years with the Eastern Star chapters at Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. She also belonged to the Daughters of the Nile.
She is preceded in death by her only son, Arthur Barris and survived by her two daughters, Dorothy Taylor and Robin Barris; four grandchildren: Amy Young, Brent Taylor, Robert Martin and Nathan Martin and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Francis Chaffers, and her two sisters, Jean Igel and Ruth Jansen, all of Florida.
She will be truly missed by her family and many friends.
