He leaves his wife Betty (BJ) Sparks, Daughter Kristal Sparks Lish, Sister Laretta Sparks, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and extended family.
He is retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Paso Robles Boys School. He was very active in golf, fishing and baseball and played for the Misfits in Paso Robles. He was a member of the Elks, the Moose Lodge in Atascadero and Paso Robles, the VFW, and was a charter member of the American Legion in Lompoc. He was also a former local bartender.
A celebration of life will take place at the Paso Robles Elks from 1-4 p.m., March 22, 2015.Arrangements under the direction of Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, Paso Robles, CA.
