

Michelle Carroll, 72, of Paso Robles, California, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, October 18, 2024. Michelle passed peacefully in the night, with her sister Bonnie, and son Jarred by her side. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Michael Carroll, her parents, Marie and Edward Michael Kakos, and her brother Edward John Kakos.
Michelle had a deep faith in God and a love for people, always seeking to help others in any way she could. Her heart was full and abundant always making room for others in need by offering her time and even a place to stay.
Michelle was a breast cancer survivor and active in Relay For Life, supporting breast cancer awareness and research.
Her passion for food was well known, and she was an amazing cook, often sharing her famous chili recipe with friends and loved ones. She was also the devoted keeper of the family’s cherished red sauce recipe, passed down from her Sicilian mother, Marie, and her ancestors before her.
Music was a constant joy in Michelle’s life. She loved singing a wide variety of songs, from classic rock and country to the beautiful melodies of gospel music. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and the great outdoors, creating lasting memories with her husband, Michael, as they spent time together in the wilderness.
Michelle loved sports and was a fierce competitor, she shared a love for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Las Vegas Raiders with her son Jarred, often cheering them on together.
Michelle is survived by her sister Bonnie Kakos, of Paso Robles, CA, son Jarred Crabtree and daughter-in-law, Amanda Crabtree of Bentonville, AR, step-daughter Tanya Winemiller, grandchildren Brayden Wilkins, and Ella Crabtree, Willow Burton, Jacob and Justin Jackson, her loving niece and nephews, Kelsey, Eddie, and Shae Kakos and her extended family, Michelle Hacker of Nashville, TN.
Above all, Michelle cared deeply for her family, her many friends, and her church community. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 23rd 2024 between 330p and 530p at Paso Robles Church of the Nazarene, 530 12th, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
