When this memory popped up on my phone... I had to share the time we had at the last reunion. We had such a fun time and all the laughter... I can still hear it now. You, me, Janet and Fay, running across that dirt field. 😂 And one of us lol trying to figure out how to drive and then who was going to drive back to Paso Robles Inn. That was so hilarious.  🤣 You are truly missed, my friend.

Lynn, I miss you so much! I wanted to call and chat about the current events, particularly the election, but could not. It reminded of our many chats on topics and world events that were deep and meaningful. I miss us sharing our perspectives, and ending with "We shall see." I text Stephanie to fill that void, but it was not the same. I love and miss you so much, but I know we shall met again in the house of our LORD. Til then, rest in peace.

This is Dwayne Ross.  I am deeply sadden that I have lost a great lifetime friend.  To Mr. and Mrs. Douglas, Greg, JR, Stephanie Debbie and the oldest son, I thank you for sharing Lynn's kindness with me, my family, members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and my friends from Hanford.  Her smile and laughter will always be that spark that changed my life.  Her advice while attending Cal Poly help me become wiser and overcome hard times with her uplifting words to never give up.  Seeing her graduate, obtain her dream job and meeting and marrying the man of her life made my life complete. Extending my sincere condolences to the Douglas and Wade families. I am praying for the families as you remember the love, as you mourn the loss and as you celebrate the life of my dear friend Regina. In this difficult time may the peace and love of God surround you.
I worked with Regina at the Franchise Tax Board in Los Angeles for over 22 years. Regina was very knowledgeable and professional. She was an excellent MSA Program Specialist. It was a pleasure working with Regina. She was a phenomenal woman. I will always remember her sweet spirit and kind heart. I will see you in Heaven. Love you Regina. God bless.

My family and I extend our sincere condolences to the Douglas and Wade families. We are deeply saddened by Regina’s passing, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this very difficult time.

Regina was a great friend, and someone that always exemplified grace and kindness. She possessed an uncanny ability to make others feel truly special and the focus of any conversation, when in-fact Regina was truly the special one by virtue of her engaging, thoughtful and always positive attitude.

It is very rare to maintain a strong friendship for well over 50 years, but I was very blessed to have Regina as a dear friend from our early years in grammar school together. Our lives advanced in parallel on many fronts including high school and our college years at Cal Poly. Our birthdays were a day apart, and as the years went by we always made sure - no matter what - to check-in with one another on our birthdays. We also did what we could to connect in-person from time-to-time through the years, and without fail Regina always brought her infectious laugh and positive energy to every setting.

I will deeply miss my dear friend, as I know will be the case with countless others that had the great fortune of knowing Regina.

May Regina rest in peace – having blessed all of us with her presence in our lives.


This is an unbelievable loss. Lynn and I met we she started at Cal Poly. We both worked as tax auditors for the State of CA, and talked about retirement. We used to ride the same Metrolink train.

My deepest condolences go out to the family of my sweet friend, Regina.  We met at The Learning Tree in 2000 while our children were attending school there. We became friends instantly, who could not with that beautiful smile and infectious laugh! We had many coffee dates through the years catching up on our children as they graduated High School and moved off to college. My auntie Regina is my real-life fairy godmother. I am so grateful that my mom chose her to be my godparent. Since I was born, my aunt sent me birthday gifts, love, and support continuously. She has sheltered me, offered me kind words and guidance, and humor. I thank her family for sharing her with us. I know we can continue to honor and sustain her memory by also being kind and loving to others. Rest In Peace Auntie. Love you! 

My sister-in-law (and AKA soror) was one of the sweetest persons I've ever known. She had become such an integral part of our family, it seems unreal to think of her as being gone. I was so glad I had the opportunity to know her and to say goodbye. Now she is over the ivy wall and gained her wings. 

Thank you for being such a great sister to me, and wife and mother to my brother, and his kids, Matthew, Lise, and Kasia. All our love, the Wade and Anderson families.

Regina will be deeply missed by her colleagues at FTB. She was truly one of a kind and well-liked by everyone who had the pleasure, and privilege, of working with her. She was not only very professional and knowledgeable, but also very kind. I will always remember her most for her grace. 

My heart goes out to her family. I hope you all find the strength to carry one another patiently through this difficult time. 

To the Norman Douglas Family,

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family as Lynn has made her transition home with the Lord.
I went to school at Cal Poly SLO, where I played football and majored in journalism. I was lucky to cross paths and become friends with Lynn. She always had a warm smile and encouraging things to say. And of course she cheered us on the football field.

I am heart broken to hear about Regina passing away. So many good memories of her in school and also working together at KFC in highs school. Praying for her family and friends.
