Stanley Richard Leavy of Paso Robles died Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the age of 78. Stanley was born in Massachusetts. He served two years in the Coast Guard before settling in California where he worked as a machinist in the machinists union for 40 years. After retiring he moved to Paso Robles where he volunteered ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, at the Food Bank distribution center, was at Relay for Life every year walking laps. He lived life to the fullest golfing,swimming, playing pickle ball. It was always said that Stanley knew no strangers, only friends he hadn't met yet. He is survived by four siblings, his wife Roberta Jones Leavy and her four children. His children: Jennifer Whitney, Jillann Sinclair, Tanya Souza, Anita Lepsik and Tony Wingert, 19 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren. Services to be held at 2:00pm on October 6, 2016, at Kuehl-Nicolay, 1703 Spring Street in Paso Robles. Arrangements under the direction of Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, Paso Robles, CA.
