Theresa "Tee" Dailey Edelman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2026. Born in Inglewood, California, to Vincent and Ruth Dailey, Theresa moved to Paso Robles in the summer of 1948 and proudly called it home for the rest of her life.
Theresa had a gift for laughter. She loved to laugh, cherished her Irish heritage, and held her family and friends close above all else. An adventurous spirit, she loved to travel and was fortunate to have seen much of the world.
She was a woman of deep community commitment. Theresa served on the board of directors for the Pioneer Day Committee, the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, and Women in Chamber. She served as chairperson for two years for the San Luis Obispo Status of Women, during which time she worked tirelessly to restore it as a vital part of the Board of Supervisors Committees. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life — St. James Episcopal Church held a special place in her heart, where she served on the vestry and dedicated herself as cochair person of the Sunday School. She was a dedicated leader in 4-H, supported the FFA, volunteered with Bingo for the Bearcat Boosters, and loved playing Bunco with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Seine, and her dear friend, Georgia Collins.
Theresa is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; her son Brent and daughter-in-law Barbara; her grandchildren, Brent Jr. and his wife Laurie, and Brooke and her husband Kyle Hasch; her great-grandchildren, Owen, Milly, and Jack; her sister Sally Windh; her nephew, Michael Seine, his wife Danielle, and their children; her niece, Dawn Edelman; and her dear friend Jackie Klintworth, who was always by her side to the last day.
"Tee's" warmth, laughter, and tireless dedication to her community will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of the caregivers and nurses who so lovingly cared for "Tee" during her illness.
