Bettye Jo Welch “BJ”, 74, was freed from her battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born on November 16, 1940 in Evansville, IN, a daughter to the late Thomas and Veneta (Helm) Dossett. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy and Charlie and sisters, Bobbie, Margaret Ann and Mona. BJ is survived by her daughters, Misty Alvis and Angela (Chris) Inks; grandchildren, Melissa (Matt), Nick, Keeley (Drew), Kyle (Dani), Carlie (Shaun), Kandace, Kory, Kourtney (Vlad) and Kameron; brother, Bill (Doris); sister, Shirley; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Upon her request there will be no services. Final resting place will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Evansville, IN. Arrangements handled by KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME.
