Charles “Russell” McCullough, 94, of Pataskala, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born on October 18, 1921 in St. Louisville, OH, a son to the late Virgil and Ruth (Berger) McCullough. Russell was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, having served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was an avid cyclist and loved to travel and hike. Russell is survived by his daughter, Marsha (Marcus) Spiker; granddaughters, Deana Clark and Brooke Wittekiend; great-grandchildren, Daniel Clark, Jacob Clark and Molly Wittekiend; siblings, Eva Sunkel, Virgil, Betty, Patricia Stott and Jerry; special friend and companion, Rosemary McCluskey and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Aldine and siblings, Dorothy Booher, William, Ronald and Donald.
