It has taken me some time to come here and write about my wonderful mother in law which I affectionately referred to as my mom.  She was true to her belief in the Lord until the very end, and I believe in my heart that she has now been reunited with her sons, her parents and siblings of whom she never stopped speaking of or remembering.  She was devoted to her family and was a sweet spirited woman.  Watching her fade away was the hardest thing we had to do, but she was a strong willed woman and she held on to the very end and the last audible words she said was that she loved us all so much and that her time here was not long and to take care of each other.  We went to where she was buried yesterday and placed a wreath on her grave.  The family plot is now full with her son Rodney who died too young and broke her heart, her niece who shares the same grave, her son Mike, her first husband Cecil her son Darrel and now her.  As we went around the cemetery there were several other family members that went on before her and each time we took her there she always visited them and spoke loving words to them.  She was a comforter and I shall miss her so much, she was in my life for just a short time but in that time I felt as if I knew her an entire lifetime.  She gave me her wonderful son Gerald who makes my heart beat, and brought such love into our lives that it is hard to face each day with her not here.  I take comfort in knowing she no longer suffers all the pain she endured day by day, she is renewed and with the Lord.  I shall cling to that until I take my last breath.  I loved her so much.

Dick, May God Bless you and your family during this time of the loss of Colleen. Carolyn and I both loved her. Now she is in heaven with Carolyn and I imagine they are having a ball!

When I first became part of this loving family through marriage, I would go on weekend trips with Colleen & her sister (my mother-in-law Dee Storch), her mother (who was like a grandmother to me), her other sisters Rita, Lynn, Lori & Bonnie, my sister-in-law Alice & others who joined us. We had so much fun on those trips.  Those Jones women were so loving & so funny, it was a joy to be around them. They always made me feel like they loved me as one of their own. And I loved them all dearly. I always got a Christmas card from Colleen; it was usually the first one I got. I didn't get to spend much time with her in the last few years but my memories of being around her will last forever. Her mom, her sisters Dee, Rita, & Lynn have already gone to heaven & now Colleen has joined them.  I know that someday I will see them all again. I love you Colleen.

So much love.  Thank you for loving me Aunt Colleen.  We're going to have an amazing family reunion in Heaven.

I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Colleen and whether we were dressed in black to do some night time gardening or passing out tracks for our church door to door. I realize she was a blast and was always ready to try anything. I will miss her but I will see her again and we will be laughing, singing & dancing for all eternity.

I will always remember playing Addie & Sally, the talks of whether angels have feet, the numerous walks to the dairy mart, and our unforgettable New Year's Eve party that ended up being just you and I.  I will miss you but it gives me comfort knowing you're now with so many loved ones.
