My love and prayers to Ruth and family for your loss.  Don was special to all of his family. I was the youngest and Don was my hero. My brother may be gone but his memory lives on.

Susan and I want to extend our deepest
sympathy to the family with the passing of my brother, Don.  I couldn't ask for a better brother, we shared many happy times and memories do give you comfort.  My fondest memories while in school was playing football and basketball with him.  His
football skills were something I admired so much; after high school Don's choice to be a mechanic was probably born in him from our father.  He had the ability to fix anything.  We had such good times with our woodworking.  Don taught me a lot and I am very thankful for the many Swapper Days we had together.

I will always remember Uncle Don's quick wit and smile with twinkling eyes.  Don and his brother, Shorty (Glenn), were the best at "mum's the word."  They were so good at it that they would forget to tell the family.  Don's ear for listening to a car engine was fine tuned.  He would always be willing to grab a tool and fix whatever needed fixed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Ron enjoyed working with Don at Kenny Chevrolet, Denny Dotsons and Liberty .   He said he has fond memories of playing softball on the Denny Dotson team with Don.  I have only know Don since I started at Liberty many years ago.  He always had a smile to share.  I also remember seeing his beautiful woodworking items at Swappers Day.  You have our deepest Sympathy.

Don was our neighbor for many years,he was a very good father,man,and husband.He was always ready to help with any problems if he could.He will be missed by all that knew him.We would like to offer our condolences to the family.

i am sorry to here of the passing of don ratai he was a good freind to all and so was his son jeff and jim spent a lot of time up at there house in alex he will be missed i dont know if he was the one that last there wife in a car wreak it might have been his brother julie bishop
