Elizabeth "Liz" Jane McIntosh

Elizabeth Jane (Dixon) McIntosh, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 28, 1948 to Russell and Jane Dixon and lived in Pataskala, Ohio her entire life. Liz graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1966 and married Rod McIntosh in 1969. Liz worked in the Southwest Licking School District for 30 years. Liz and Rod, along with Rod’s sister, Jane and her husband Dale, started several businesses: the Dairy Hut, the T&M Carry-out and Mac’s restaurant.

Liz was preceded in death by her husband Rod and brother Bill. She is survived by step-son Rodney of Cincinnati, son Tony (Jennifer) of Pataskala and daughter Ali (Eric) of Gahanna. Liz was so proud of her grandchildren, Brielle (Tyler) Daniel of Cincinnati, Rylee McIntosh of Cincinnati, Alex (Galina) McIntosh of Pataskala and Joe McIntosh of Pataskala; Kaiden, Kaeson and Adrik Deck, all of Gahanna. She is also survived by her sister, Janell (Bill) Peters of Sun City Center, Florida; sister-in-law Jane (Dale) Foor of Gahanna; her very special great grandchild, Elena McIntosh of Pataskala; and three nieces and a nephew. She also leaves behind her two cats, Harry and Ruby.

Visitation and memorial service will be held on May 12th. Calling hours will be 5:00-7:00pm at
