Garnita Gayle Ward

Garnita Gayle Ward, 70, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born February 17, 1953 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Imogene and James Kiser. Gayle retired from Watkins Printing after many hard working years, and would assist as a bus aid with Licking Heights Schools. She truly enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. Gayle is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William H. Ward; children, Amy Stewart, Sam Ward, Wendy (James Wilson) Ward, and William J. (Michelle) Ward; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Connie MacDonald, Donna (Jesse) Maynard, and Tony Kiser; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to her parents, Gayle is preceded in passing by her daughter, Angela Ward; and brother, Mark Kiser. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S. Main St. Pataskala, OH 43062. A graveside service is to immediately follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
