Jesse W. Dawson, age 79 of Reynoldsburg, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday December 7, 2013 at his home. Jesse was born on June 24, 1934 in Sabina, Ohio to the late Ralph and Louise (Koons) Dawson.
Jesse is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann, children Charles Dawson, Debra Ann Spurling, Vickie Dawson, Larry Dawson, Tamara Allen, Cynthia Faccenda, Ryan Nutter, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brothers and sister Marvin Dawson, Jim Dawson, Betty Newman, Roger Dawson and Dick Dawson. Special friends Greg Bishop, Robert Amspaugh, Tony Vance, and Jonce Nasovoski. Jesse worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Complete General Contracting Company for over 47 years, and was a member of the International Union of Operator Engineers Local 18.
Friends may call at the Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Pataskala on Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
