Mary Anne Handschuh of Pataskla, OH passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Pataskala Oaks Care Center. She was born on May 8, 1941 in Darby. PA. Mary Anne and her family were longtime residents of Ridley Park, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles P. Sr. and Barbara V. Handschuh of Boothwyn, PA. She is survived by one son, Jeffrey A. Walker, of Sunbury. OH, her sisters, Barbara H, Duffy and her husband, Charles of Citra, FL, Charlotte Handschuh of Oxford, PA, Louise H. Kozlowski of Elkton, MD, Diane H. Fanean and her husband, Michael of Lawrenceville, PA, brother, Charles P. Handschuh, Jr of Rising Sun, MD and cousin, James Legg of Kirkwood, PA. Mary Anne, was like a grandmother and known as Memom to her beloved twelve nieces and nephews, seventeen great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew. Mary Anne graduated from Notre Dame of Moylan in 1959 and was employed by Boeing for 39 years at the Morton, Ridley Park, PA and Fort Worth, TX plants, retired in 1998. After retiring, Mary Anne owned/operated the Bohemia Family Market Place in Chesapeake City, MD, then moved to sunny St. Pete, FL and eventually followed her son, Jeff, to Belle Vernon, PA then onto Pataskla, OH. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and Red Hat Society. Mary Anne chose to be cremated with no funeral to be held. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
