Neil graduated from Auburn University as a Chemical Engineer and worked at Owens-Corning where he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Grace Rebecca, son Paul (Connie) Carter, daughters Joan George and Donna (John) Thomas. He also had many grandchildren in Ohio, Florida, and Minnesota, and brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Alabama. Neil loved fishing, golfing, gardening, cooking, and woodworking.
