Nicholas James Utzinger, 44, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born June 22, 1979 in Columbus, Ohio to James and Lani Utzinger, who survive. In addition to his parents Nicholas is survived by his beloved children, Austin (Alyssa Fischer), Bralynn, and Brianna Utzinger; brother, Adam (Amanda) Utzinger; nephew, Lincoln Utzinger; niece, Gracie Utzinger; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. Nicholas loved spending time with his friends, racing RC cars, and most importantly being with his family. Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. A funeral service will immediately follow the calling hours, with Pastor Todd Smeltzer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Nicholas’ name to the Basecamp Recovery Center, 815 W Broad St # 200, Columbus, OH 43222.
