Virginia Adair (Jinny) Kaiser, formerly of Granville and late of Delaware, OH, age 96, died on February 27, 2018 at Willowbrook at Delaware Run, in Delaware. She was born in New Philadelphia, OH on October 30, 1921 to Harold M. Fashbaugh and Bessie Edna (Beatty) Fashbaugh.
She is survived by her son, R. Lamont (Joyce) Kaiser of Delaware, daughter Karen A. (Roger) Warren of Mansfield, her grandchildren Deborah C. (Matthew) Garvic, Brian L. (Caryn) Kaiser, and Jeffrey K. (Aubrey) Little, and seven great–grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters Melva Hinson and Marilou Mishler.
Jinny was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School where she met Robert E. Kaiser while they were both student’s in Woody Hayes’ high school history class. Bob and Jinny married in Columbus, Ohio in 1942 and they enjoyed a 68 year loving marriage prior to Bob’s death in January 2011. Jinny has nurtured her Tuscarawas County roots by maintaining contact with her extended family and high school classmates. Jinny and Bob were enthusiastic travelers throughout the United States and Europe. Jinny had a special affinity for the island of Kauai.
Jinny was a devoted homemaker, wife, and volunteer in community organizations as the family moved from Columbus to Raleigh, NC, Katonah, NY and Pataskala, OH. Her retirement years were enjoyed in Granville and more recently in Delaware, OH.
Interment with a graveside service in the Pataskala Cemetery, on Creek Rd, Pataskala, OH celebrating her life will be conducted on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. The interment has been arranged through Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, of Pataskala.
