Wanetta Dudley

Wanetta Victoria Dudley, 87, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She was born December 13, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Anton and Veranice (Irwin) Wassmuth. Wanetta worked for the JcPenney Outlet Store, and in her free time enjoyed decorating delicious wedding cakes. She was a long time and faithful member of the Eastern Star, Grove City Chapter #502. Wanetta is survived by her loving children, David (Dianna) Dudley and Karen Thurston; grandchildren, Nick (Cerene) Dudley, Matthew and Keegan Thurston, Scott (Leah) Snyder, and Mary Ann Gibson; great-grandchildren Julianne and Remington Dudley, Mackenzie and Eleanor Snyder, Alicia Gibson, and David Montgomery; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Wanetta is preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 66 years, Lonnie Dudley. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Eastern Star service will take place at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, concluding calling hours.Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
