Randy J. Korthals

Randy J. Korthals passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at home in Fruitland surrounded by his family. He was born October 13, 1951 to Mason and Marcella Korthals and grew up in Fruitland, Idaho. Randy married Julie Guthrie on May 1, 1976 in Payette, Idaho and they had four children; two grandsons were added to the mix later on. He was an interstate freight relocater for American Fine Foods and then for ABF.

Randy enjoyed camping and exploring on ATV trails throughout southwest Idaho and eastern Oregon. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop and after years of interstate travel, he loved just being at home.

He is survived by his wife Julie; children, Megan Korthals of Boise, Idaho, Kate Korthals of Nashville, Tennessee, Jamie DiFalco of Franklin, West Virginia and Nick Korthals of McCall, Idaho; grandsons, Mason and Lucas DiFalco; sisers, Linda (Pat) Bonner of Fruitland, Idaho, Mary (Alan) Hancock of Yelm, Washington, Patty (Mack) Middleton of Kent, Washington, Pam Beckwith of Canton, Georgia; and brother, Mark (Yvonne) Korthals of Fruitland, Idaho.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
