Mrs. Mable Findlay, age 86, of Union City, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. She worked with Colonial and Big Star Grocery Stores retiring after 20+ years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Tyrone, GA. Mable is preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Findlay. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Crawford (Monte Austin) and Diane Kukoski; grandchildren, Robby Crawford, Jennifer Crawford, Jason Redd, and Wesley Redd. Services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1:00pm at the First Christian Church of Tyrone with Billy Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, GA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 6:00-8:00pm at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christian City, 7340 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.
