  What a tribute to Delta this gracious, funny, and loving man was; Boy, what a loss!!!

I flew the C-46 with Mike in the late 1960's and would take Mike home to Staten Island  on our layover in .New York. My mom loved feeding him all the Italian food. I enjoyed him and your family when we lived close in East Point. He was a great dad. friend and pilot and will be remembered fondly by all. God's Blessing on your family and his soul.

Dear Jean, Family, and Friends, 

On behalf of the Delta Golden Wings, the fraternal organization of retired Delta pilots, of which Captain Mario Peruzzi was a member, I wish to extend the condolences and sympathies of our members. 

The bond of friendship and respect from time shared in the cockpit as Delta pilots is an enduring one that transcends generations. Mike Peruzzi was one of Delta Air lines most senior pilots; his spirit will now be a companion to aviators through the ages.

Mario was a great gentleman and a wonderful tennis partner!  The senior men's M/W/F tennis group from the Peachtree Center Tennis Club will miss him.

I, also, was in his initial class with Delta..remember him from some of our reunions. Always smiling...will be missed. Jim Gregg

Mario was a wonderful gentleman and delightful tennis partner! We have missed him and will miss his presence with our M/W/F Tennis group out of the Peachtree City Tennis Center!  Peace and comfort to his family!

Mike was in the same pilot class with me at Delta in September 1956.  He was always pleasant and had a smile on his face.  I am sure when he made his Final Flight West, he landed gently at the gates of Heaven.  God Speed, Mike.  My sincere condolences to his loved ones.

I always knew it would be a great rotation when Mario walked into the cockpit. God bless you Sir and your family.
