She was born on February 25, 1946, in Dormont, PA, a suburb south of Pittsburgh. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John Dacoros and Patience Winnifred Woy Dacoros, her brother Bill Dacoros, and sisters Dianne Dacoros Scott and Irene Dacoros Lober.
Pat went to Dormont High School where she enjoyed cheerleading and being the social butterfly. She loved growing up in Pittsburgh during the 50s music era where she loved to sing and dance. This love of music was also shared in her wonderful marriage to Allen Marchman.
Pat was a wonderful Mother to her son, Ed Zamecnik, and daughter, Patty Zamecnik Brown. She loved the Lord and studying Scripture. She was dedicated to allowing her children and grandchildren to see her love of the Lord lived out in tangible ways of loving others. Her greatest joy was to care for others with food, such as baklava, spinach pies, or stuffed cabbage for the sufferer. Pat loved family time and being married to Allen was five of the best years of her life, where they enjoyed camping, cruises, and reading the Bible together. She had a brilliant mind which she demonstrated while Allen and she watched Jeopardy and Scrabble matches with her daughter. Her sense of humor was second to none and she always had a funny story for every occasion.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, William “Allen” Marchman; daughter, Patty (Terry) Brown; son, Ed Zamecnik, Step Children Scott (Lyn) Marchman, Kevin (Joy) Marchman, Paige (Andy) Marchman, loving sister, Marg Dacoros (Pittsburgh); Grandchildren Adam Pisarcik, Jonathon (Melissa) Pisarcik, Sadie Pisarcik, Ryan Brown, Maddie Brown and Addy Brown, 3 Great Grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
