Mrs. Sharon J. Burdette, age 63, of Fayetteville, Ga passed away on August 11, 2012. Mrs. Burdette was a graduate of Russell High School in East Point, Ga and Dr. Stan Mitchell’s Office Manager for 27 years. She was also a faithful member of The Church of Christ for over 50 years and was truly devoted to her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Burdette is preceded in death by her daughter, Shay Lea Burdette; brother, William “Bill” Nash; sisters, Carleen Biles and Meridith Nash. Those left to cherish Mrs. Burdette’s memory include her beloved husband of 45 years, Steven C. Burdette; son, Tony (Jodi) Burdette; daughter, Shelby Lynn (Jimmy) Garner; grandchildren, Tyler Burdette, Justin Burdette , Jake Garner and Kyndal Garner; brothers, Wayne (Betty Jo) Nash and David (Jill) Nash; brother-in-law, Ronald Biles; sisters, JoAnn Daughtery, Doris (Harry) Johnson and many many nieces and nephews. Services honoring Mrs. Burdette’s life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11 am with Brother Steve Kepley officiating. Burial will follow the service in College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 13 from 6-8 pm.
