Mrs. Beatrice Squires Thompson, 81, died November 15, 2011 at Brandon Nursing & Rehab.
Funeral services were 10:00 am, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Pearl with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and member of Crossgates Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carole Netherland; grandson, David Johnson; daughter-in-law, Merry Thompson and brother, Jack Squires.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Oscar J. Thompson; son, Michael Oscar Thompson; daughters, Patricia Lynn Wilson (Stan) and Tammy Darlene Thornton (Dion); son-in-law, Mike Netherland; brothers, Merl Squires (Ailne) and Wayne Squires (Pat); sister, Dorothy Meadows; sister-in-law, Betty Squires; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
