Billy C. Varner, 75, died August 4, 2010 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation is 5-8pm today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10am Saturday, August 7, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mr. Varner was born July 26, 1935, a son of the late Melvin and Ethel Buffington Varner.
Mr. Varner was the owner of Varner Saw Service in Brandon and was formerly employed by MPI/DeSoto. He was also a member of Robinhood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Varner of Brandon; children, David Varner, Dwight Varner and wife Diane and Gail Richardson and husband Bill all of Brandon; sister, Vonnie Thompson of Sulphur Springs, TX; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
