Billy B. Watson, 85, went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10am in the funeral home chapel with interment at Lodebar Cemetery in Pelahatchie. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Watson was born in Pelahatchie, February 26, 1927. He worked for 25 years on the Jackson Police Department, retiring as Captain and then worked for Trustmark Bank another 18 years before fully retiring.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maxine Watson; daughter, Nancy Moon; son, Ronnie Watson and wife Patsy; grandchildren, Rick Moon, Jr., Dawn Errington and Brent Watson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Watson was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
