Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral Services are 11:00am, Friday, February 4, 2022, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Clare was born October 25, 1937, in Panola County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Thomas Everett Durham and Thelma Leona Fivecoat Durham. She enjoyed a lengthy career with the Mississippi State Hospital as a medical secretary and clerk.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Walker; son, Marty Butts (Ann); daughter, Wilma Livingston; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lottie Lester (J.D.), and Willie Rybolt; brother, Billy Durham; daughter-in-law, Debbie Butts; son-in-law, Greg Anthony; and brother-in-law, Robert Butts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Rose Butts Anthony; son, Dennis Butts; her children’s father, Wilbur Butts; sister, Ina Chandler; brothers, Harrison Durham, and Charles Durham; grandchild, Anthony Meadows; and great-grandchild, Tiffany Butts.
