

Curtis Haven "Butch" Allday, Jr., 62, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be 11am Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Byram with visitation from 10am - 11am. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Cemetery.
Butch married his wife, Barbara in 1972. They were blessed with three children, Anna, Lori and Ryan. He loved his family dearly and greatly enjoyed playing and watching his grandchildren. He was a believer in Christ Jesus, and had a servant's heart. He was a hard-working, loving, honest man with a heart of gold and a contagious spirit. He lived life to the fullest and made sure everyone around him did the same. He did everything from rodeoing to dirt track racing. He owned his own excavation company for 32 years and though some might consider it work, he loved moving the earth with those machines. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Laura Allday; grandparents, J.J. and Oma Allday and Wade and Mildred Scruggs; and uncle, Alton "Slick" Allday.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Allday; parents, Curtis Haven Sr. and Martha Allday of Terry; children, Lori Hearn and husband, Skylar of Terry, Ryan Allday and fiance, Brittney Haynes of Florence; sister, Barbara Smith and husband, Gary of Terry; grandchildren, AnnaGrace and Paxton Hearn, Swayze Wagner and Anniston Allday; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
