Born on June 02, 1938, in Jackson, MS to the late Mr. Ernest Emeile and Bessie Simon Saik.
Mr. Saik had a lengthy career as a butcher in his family business called THE BUTCHER SHOP. He was also a reservist with the Mississippi Army National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Saik met the love of his life, Ms. Sandra Hawkins in 1988 and they were married in 1996. They were together for more than 38 years.
When Mr. Saik was not spending time with his family you could find him in the outdoors on the lawn mower or doing any kind of landscaping. He had a green thumb naturally according to family. Nathan’s commitment to the Lord and his family was unwavering. His passion for multiple hobbies was admirable and he was a skilled landscaper with the ability to fix anything. He was also a gifted cook, especially in Lebanese cuisine.
Mr. Saik is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra “Sandy” Hawkins Saik; son, Michael Saik (Amanda), Parker McRaney (grandson). First grandchild, Ethan Saik and fiancé Ally Simmons and his canine companion, Alice.
Mr. Saik will be missed by all that loved him.
Family will hold a private service.
