Eric Scott Houston

He was born Friday, January 12, 1973 in Jackson. Eric was a 1991 graduate of Murrah High School. He attended Hinds Community College and graduated from William Carey College in Hattiesburg with an Associates Degree. Eric was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Jackson where he enjoyed activities with the Singles Dept. and participated in the Harold Johnson Sunday School Class. He was employed for many years with the main branch of Trustmark National Bank on Capital Street as a security console operator.

Survivors include his mother, Mary "Becky" Miller; father, Doyle L. Houston; brother, Jason Miller; uncle and aunt, Bill and Eva Brown; aunt, Barbara Brown; his church family at First Baptist, Jackson and many other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William R. and Mary Brown and Verner and Zula Mae Houston.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30am, Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, Jackson.
