Visitation will be from 5 -8pm Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
She was a member of Pinelake Church.
Mrs. Dukes is preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley and Lena Abernathy; her husband of 58 years, W.L. Dukes; brother, Lavelle Abernathy; and great-grandson, Holden Kyle Hughes.
She is survived by her children, Faye Schmelig and husband Randy, Ellen Kellum and finance’ Paul Ducker, Reba Moon and husband Rick; and son, Wyndall Dukes; brother, Wesley J. Abernathy; sisters, Mary Purvis and Frances Fulton; and grandchildren, Michelle Kellum, Benee’ Schlangen, Angie Hood, Cristy Hageman & Eric Van Arsdall; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
