Evelyn Newman Huhn, 88, passed away at home in Ridgeland, Mississippi, on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

She is survived by her son, Dwight Boyte, her daughter, Susan Watkins (David), and three grandchildren, David Watkins, Jr., Jason Watkins (Laney), and Jimmy Check. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Willie D. Huhn, her daughter, Kathy, and her parents, W.S. and Leontyne Newman.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Terry City Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the staff of Assisting Angels for the loving care they have provided to her and to Home Care Hospice for the comforting service in her final days.
