A funeral service is planned for 12:00pm on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS with visitation one hour prior. A graveside service will be held immediately after at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS.
Greg is preceded in death by his father Richard Young, his mother Marian Young and his aunt (Geraldine Bobinger).
Greg is survived by his wife Teresa Young, son William Young(Penny), daughter Becki Young, daughter Ashley Clark(Bruno), daughter Kasey Toombs(Lee), uncle Chevis Bobinger, cousin Tim Brogdon(Kathy), 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Greg was a caring and lovable man who, throughout his lifetime, devoted himself to his religion and the people around him. He followed Christ and strived to be a Godly man. He had a genuine love for his family and his friends. He could easily make you laugh and was always there to lift your spirits and make you smile. He battled his illness for several years but he always looked to the brighter things in life.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to help with funeral cost and any additional expenses. A Go Fund Me account has been set up in the name of Gregory L Young.
