

Visitation will be 2:00-5:00pm, Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Monday, November 14, 2016, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Richard was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church in Pearl and served our country honorably with the U.S. Air Force. He retired as an agent for the TSA. Richard also worked for several years in the printing industry and for the MS Braves. He was a member of John P. Byrd Masonic Lodge #629, the Wahabi Shrine and the Wahabi Clown Unit. Richard also acted in several movies that were filmed locally.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Martin Dyess, and son, Harris “Richie” Dyess.
Survivors include son, Derrick Dyess and wife Corrie; step-son, Jeremy Quattlebaum and wife Jenny; step-daughter, Christy Vaccaro; grandchildren, Caleb Dyess, Brendan Dyess, Harrison Dyess, Brittany Morrow, Anna Holst, and Trace Quattlebaum; brother, Michael Dyess and wife Pam; sister, Joan Dyess; and several nieces and nephews.
