James was born on December 14, 1966, in Yazoo City, MS, to James E Ketchum, Jr and Mary Francis McAlister Ketchum. He graduated from Benton Academy in 1986. He spent most of his career as a mechanic with John Deere.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brothers; Mark Ketchum of Brandon, MS, and Scotty Ketchum of Glen Allen, MS, and sister; Sandra Campbell of Carthage, MS
Family will hold private services at a later date.
